Even during a global pandemic, the ugly that has plagued the world for centuries found a way to show its face by way of the murder of George Floyd who helplessly begged for his life while an officer dug his knee into his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds.

One can only hope that we as a society can be as aggressive and persistent when it comes to tackling the inequalities that have plagued society for hundreds of years as we are when it comes to other issues.
